Child Protection and Welfare Lincoln City Football club acknowledges its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person who has been entrusted to its care and is committed to working to provide a safe environment for all members. It is with this in mind that a Club Welfare Officer (Liz Baxter) has been appointed in line with the FA's Child Protection guidelines.
Liz has extensive child protection/welfare experience through her role as a qualified community children’s nurse. The key principles of this role are to make sure that all reasonable steps are taken to ensure children/young people are safe whilst in our charge. This duty of care is extended by moral responsibility to develop a culture in which children can take part in football in a safe environment, free from abuse regardless of age, culture, gender, disability, language, racial origin, religious beliefs and sexual identity.
